I purchased this skirt to wear as part of a "Catholic school girl" costume. I had a feeling from previous reviews that it ran very small and I was right. I normally wear a 14/16 or XL and I bought the 4X and it fits perfectly. It has a velcro closure waist so you have a little leeway as to where to fasten it, which is nice. The skirt seems to be very well made. Substantial. It is SUPER short though, so I'll have to wear something under it rather than just underwear. Perfect for "Mary Katherine Gallagher", the "Superstar" character. -- Well made, nice skirt, VERY short!
